judge — whether in a Town Court, or the County Court — is to make
sure that the law is followed in all respects, in all cases. |

The Ulster County Court is authorized to handle the prosecution of all crimes committed within Ulster County. It has exclusive authority to handle trials in felony matters and shares authority with the Kingston City Court and local town and village courts in Ulster County to handle trials in misdemeanor cases. |
